Todays Results – A pretty good day but only one Man of The match as Toddy celebrates his 30th birthday starting at the Hood but then on to the Wandle could get ugly But todays results and some good ones too. The 1s won 4-2 away at Old Finchleans (G/S Charlie 2, Jordan and Yes your very own Clappers with his right foot) Chas was MOM and Browner DOTD . How come? we should be told!.

2s won an epic cup match at OLd Thorntonians 2-0 up after 15 mins but Old T’s were a quality side scored and battled to the very end, Epic stuff. Lofty makeshift GLK was deservedly MOM and EJ DOTD – why not?

7s lost 5-2.

Pics from 2s game at Old Ts and some bar action. Happy BirthdayToddy you beauty!!!!

Some disappointing results from the Hood where we observed a respectful minutes silence for those who gave their lives. The 1s lost a hard fought cup tie 2-1 to Wandsworth Boro. We lead 2-1 through Aaron Loftus on his debut but a strong second half saw the visitors through to the next round. The 2s bowed out of their cup 3-0 to Old Finchleans on a day where little went their way home. The 3s lost 4-2 at Kew. (Denys and Darcy scored) The 4s had no game for one of tghe better outcomes but the 5s beat Norsemen 4-1 in the cup with some really good goals in a good performance.(Aaron Byrne MOM with a hat trick) Darren Avey DOD and thinks he was stitched up.) The 6s lost 3-2 to old Parks and the 7s lost 8-2 to old Alleyns where they cleared the casual water off the pitch.. Shame!

Todays Results.

1s lose 1-0 at CEV (Harrison MOM and James Gray DOD) 2s draw 2-2 with Hampstead Heathens (Scorers Wilgo and DQ. ) 2-0 down but great fightback. 3s no Game with SAL newcomers City of London pulling out on Thursday evening and taking advantage of SAL’s new rule. 4s beat Civil Service 6s 3-1 (Goals from Dom Plumridge and Aaron Loftus 2) 5s draw 3-3 at Old Wilsons (Goals Aaron Byrne, Dulanie Richards Phil Truman (MOM) 6s win 3-1 against Civil Service (Tony Chaplin 2, George Brobbey) and 7s have an epic 4-3 win at Old Salesians Billy 2 Ryan 2) and it was Ryan in the 94th minute that got the 3pts. But Mustard and the 3s were celebrating the boys significant birthday.

In today’s early kick off at the Hood our vets went under 6-2 to OWCs Vets. After going 3-0 down fairly early on we pulled it back to 3-2 but superior something (perhaps everything) told in the end. Return game on the Annual Long Good Friday. But great spirit and enjoyment in the bar aswell!!!!

The later kick off were not much better.  No games for the 1s, 2s and 7s this week.

3s lost 6-3 to Old Parks, (Tom Benham 2, Dan Bumstead 1) But OPs looked avery strong outfit in this cup match, 4s lost 2-1 in a closeley fought league game with table topping rivals IBIS Eagles. 5s had a bad day losing 4-0 and 6s lost 3-2 (Nick Englefield 2) Pics from the Hood.

Todays Results

This is going to be tough, I haven’t done any exercise since I stopped playing football about 5-6 years ago. I eat a lot of junk food, and consume more than I should in alcohol but this is all about to change. some of you may have known Craig and some of you not but he was a great smart lad who just loved football. I first met him through Alex Bocking traveling away with Ipswich on the supporters coach and we had some great trips. I decided to run for Teenage Cancer Trust after seeing the ward that Craig was in whilst going through something no one should ever have to. they do a lot and try to make things as comfortable as possible and this charity still needs a lot of help to continue doing the work they do so more people have access to these great facilities. miss you mate xx

Ok you’ve seen the videos now for the results. Team Handsome won the Quiz. They turned up mob handed almost more than we use to get on a regular Saturday afternoon klast season and cantered in chased by Europe Who? ((the 1s) and Starship Fozzy, the Legends etc. Despite Cocktail hour it was a relatively abstemious affair with people concentrating hard on the quiz in hand (Ed – Shurely shum Mishtake). Things livened up a little with the music round. Big Thanks to Sherbs the quiz master, the Gals behind the bar, the Dodge, Lenners for helping out, all those who turned up and made a premature effort to drink the bar dry, Whistle stop for the food etc etc etc Well done a great night down at the Hood.

Today’s Results.

3s and 5s had no fixture this weekend.
